Reading Between the Lines: Summary of DAC Review of NZ ODA 2010 – John McKinnon

Ever polite, the latest OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) peer review of New Zealand Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) follows a long established tradition. The DAC experts, the well educated critical thinkers who prepare these texts, are apparently instructed above all to show respect for the member nation whose work is being reviewed.

Speaking Dates

We now have dates and times for our NZADDs speaking tour in March.

Monday 21 March: 5-7pm at Auckland University. Topic: “Is Economic Development an Appropriate Focus for an Aid Agency?”

Wednesday 23 March from 1.00pm to 1.50pm at Otago University, Dunedin. Topic: “The Changing World of New Zealand Aid”

Friday 25 March from 12.30pm (we think) at Victoria University, Wellington. Topic: “Is Economic Development an Appropriate Focus for an Aid Agency?”
